i wonder why the one house, i found on the virtuell puppenhausmuseum, which looks the same like ours, is called "haus karin" and this one, nearly the same is called "villa maria"?! maybe "haus karin" was the simple version (for small purses) and "villa maria" was the version with the higher standard (and more expensiv). i can see differences at the doors (the glas has rhombuses) and the wallpaper is different, too.
i´m very curious how high this auction will end?! it´s not to late to make a bid... also thanks to dirk, who gave me the permission to show his pictures!!i wish you a wonderful third advent weekend, yours nicola

Yes, I actually had a look on ebay.de (mostly I don't, as I can't buy anything at the moment), and when I saw this I thought it was like your house! I think you're probably right that there were different models for different prices which were called different names. So now you know the original name of yours - and very appropriate to make a Villa Mara (& Annina) from a Villa Maria!
Also ich finde das Haus ja auch schön, aber mir kommt sofort dieser Gedanke: Welches Kind in den 50er hatte wohl ein so großes Zimmer, um dieses Haus voll zur Geltung kommen zu lassen? Will man damit spielen, ist die Rückseite verdeckt, will man es umdrehen und sich an der Vorderfront erfreuen, braucht man viel Platz.
Unsere Lundbys sehen zwar von hinten nicht so toll aus, können aber zur Not platzsparend an der Wand montiert werden.

zu dieser kleine Villa von der Firma Albin Schönherr aus Niederlauterstein konnte man sich einen beliebigen Namen , meist den der kleinen Besitzerin, bei der Firma bestellen.
To this small dollhouse from the Albin Schönherr company from Niederlauterstein (Erzgebirge region)buyers could choose the name of the house. Mostly they took the name of the littler owner.

rebecca, like you can read in the last post from swantje, it wasn´t just the idea of annina´s & mara´s grandpa, to name the house after the owner(s) - isn´t that cute what she wrote?!
petra, wie recht du hast! ich denke kinder, die diese kleine villa bekamen, hatten sicher auch genügend platz dafür. wahrscheinlich wurde es in die mitte des zimmers auf einen tisch gestellt?! bei mir steht es auf dem kleiderschrank im schlafzimmer, weil es so sperrig und tief ist. die vorderseite zeigt nach vorne, dann sieht man nicht, das innen ein mix von möbeln steht, von denen ich nicht weiß, ob ich sie nehmen soll ;D. ich lobe mir auch mein lundby göteborg haus, das ist so schön flach und paßt perfekt auf ein ikea "billy" im wohnzimmer!
