Fill the closet - Part II

Before March is gone I wanted to show you a few of my purchases for my spoiled Blythe dolls quickly:

You already know the cute Icantdance sweatshirt Niki is wearing on this picture, it was part of my last "fill the closet" post :) I also had to have the kitty shirt from Jenny/Icantdance because it is baby Elvira, her awesome Maine Coon cat and the shirt is so stinkin' cute anyway!

Rosa in the middle wears a lovely combi from Cositas de Nenitas with an ouija board theme. I love to dress Rosa in black and spooky clothes, because she is somehow a little ghost girl to me.

I also bought a lot shoes... Most of them on the fb second-hand market. The red Mary Janes and the black boots were from DOLLBONBON on etsy, a bit pricy but worth the money!

Some of these are original Takara stock shoes, like the cowboy boots from "Hello Harvest" in the middle and the funny 70s boots from "Mod Molly" on the right. Some of the others unknown... The brown boots on the left could be the ones from "Nick Lad"... Anyway, I like them all and so do the dolls :D

These basic Tutus and the little pinafore came from MINIJIJO. Can a doll ever own too much Tutus? I plan to revamp the pinafore with other buttons and maybe with a bit of embroidery?!

Another buy from the fb second-hand market was this cute little felt dress with the fox (unfortunately it is a bit widely and the fashion designer in me is missing the fit here). I even don't know the maker... I know she was at flickr in the good old golden flickr days and made a lot of these nice dresses.

The glases were from FLEUDELYSDOLLS on etsy. They are well made and cool somehow, but also here a problem with the fitting - The temple stems are much too long :(

Also from the second-hand market were these awesome knickers! Highly recommended - They are so well made and fit perfect. The maker is: BlytheHappy on etsy. I am sure I will order some panties directly from her, because of the sad fact that all the more recent Takara Blythe releases are coming with cleaning rags instead of underwear... You can see it on the picture here: Wolkje holds her Takara "underwear" in her hand and throws it away ;)

Another great addition to my growing bunch of Blythe stock outfits was the purchase of the complete "Silver Snow" set. I wanted the jacket, ear muffs and cons for long and I am also happy about the other little clothes and things! Takara made such adorable and detailed fashion for their dolls in the past... I wish, they would still do it!

Still no news from my Pretty Peonie... I am a bit upset about this wait by now... I wrote to CC Toys a few times and I REALLY hope they will fix this problem soon. And one thing is clear for me, the next doll I will order will be from another shop!

I wish you happy Easter days if you celebrate, yours Nicola

Dollily handmade or FINALLY finished!

Last summer I was in the mood to make something for my neglected Blythe dolls again and started to knit some tops for dresses... finished the pink dress with the fawns on it... gave it to my dear dolly friend Schneckiene when she came for a short visit to Berlin...

and the other three tops went into my stash, hanging around with some other unfinished things I brought with me from Minden to Berlin... unbelievable, but true!

But when I wrote this post I had the wilful intent to finally finish all things in my stash before I start something new...

I even managed to finally sew some buttons on a Secretdoll Person dress & helmet I knitted ... really a while ago ;)

So *YEAH* for me and the FOs -> Finished objects

Now I am planning to sew some Spring-dresses and something 70s for a special Blythe doll, I will give myself for my birthday in April...

Some other good news; my Pretty Peony landed in Berlin after WEEKS and I will go to the custom tomorrow to pick her up! Excitement!! EDIT: it wasn't Pretty Peony and so the wait is still going on :(

Have a nice day, yours Nicola - yearning for SPRING

Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg with a Blythe doll - of course!

I really like a walk at Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg, not only because it is next to where I live, it is a very nice park though...

This bear always is a victom of "street art" - so sad! The very first picture I took of him was in October 2016 and he didn't look like a panda bear back then...

Volkspark Prenzlauerberg is one of the parks which was build on rubble mountains after WW II and it has this somehow forgotten vibe, because it looks more like a overgrown forest and not like a park.

It's composed of two mountains with a stone on top of each:

The view down the hill which was ment to sledge in the past:

And even if there was not just a single snowflake, just freezing temperatures, Nele went sledding with some other kids :D

Isn't she the cutest little sledder ever?!

Have a nice sunday dear peeps, we are going to Schlachtensee today... and maybe there will be a doll with us again?!

Yours Nicola
